On May 19, 2018, the couple tied the knot in a televised ceremony at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. Approximately 2,640 people were invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle for the royal event, including British royal family members: the late Queen Elizabeth II, the current King Charles III, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, among others. Among celebrity guests were Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, Elton John, George and Amal Clooney, and David and Victoria Beckham.

In 2020, it was revealed in a statement from Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace that Markle and Prince Harry would no longer use their "Royal Highness" titles and would maintain their private patronages and associations. That year, the couple relocated to Santa Barbara after short stints living in Los Angeles and Vancouver, Canada.

The couple shares two children, Archie Harrison, born in 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in 2021.

In March 2024, Markle launched her lifestyle brand, which was originally named American Riviera Orchard. It was renamed "As Ever" in February 2025. Markle also launched a Netflix show, "With Love, Meghan," and a podcast, "Confessions of a Female Founder," in 2025.
