The month of May is an especially difficult one for entertainer Marie Osmond, 54, as her late son Michael's birthday is in the month that also celebrates her wedding anniversary, her mother's birthday as well as Mother's Day.

Michael died in May 2011, when he committed suicide after a lifelong battle with depression. He was just 18 years old.

"If I didn't have my faith in God, I don’t know how I could survive," she told ET about getting through the difficult month in a new sit-down interview. "There's not a day that goes by where you know, people say, 'Does it get easier?' No. Does God give you respite? Absolutely … it's a month of great reflection , love. He's still a very big part of my family."

In fact, Marie shares the touching Christmas gift the family gave the newest addition to the Osmond clan -- four-month old grandson Stephen Craig, Jr., the son of her eldest son Stephen and his wife Claire -- a lamb softie that Michael loved when he was a little boy.

"All the kids found it ... they found this little lamb, and they took the music box out and … sewed it up and put it together," she explains. "And you know, they are a part of you. They're a part of you every single day, and I know I'll see him again. I know I will."

Currently, Marie is absolutely relishing spending time with baby Stephen.

"That's what it is to be a grandma," she smiles. "All fun and no stress."
