Cast of 'Entourage' shares their secrets

With “Entourage” preparing for its highly anticipated film release on June 3, GQ has uncovered some little known facts about the TV-turned-movie cast.

While gathered around a table at a trendy restaurant in Austin, Texas, after a photo shoot, Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connelly and Jerry Ferrara let the conversation flow across a variety of topics.

Among the odds and ends discussed at the “baller booth,” Piven, who reprises his role as Ari Gold, says he has an apartment in London. “I usually rent a flat, as they call it,” said Piven, 49, who more often that not corrects the magazine’s writer during a lengthy conversation about acting.

Piven also shares he was cast to play an actor playing George Costanza in an episode of “Seinfeld,” even though he’d never seen the show. He’s also a fan of Mumford & Sons.

The film that swept many of the award shows this season, “Boyhood,” also became a topic discussed among the HBO stars.

Despite it winning many accolades, it didn’t win over Dillon, who plays Johnny Chase. “I thought it was the most boring movie I ever saw,” detailed Dillon, 49. “I was unimpressed.”

Fans also learn that Ferrara, who plays Turtle, is in tip-top physical shape these days. The slimmed-down 35-year-old Brooklynite has been planning to play boxer Arturo Gatti, but hasn’t gotten his film made yet.

Connelly, who got his start in acting in the early ’90s and is now 41, seemingly has his hands full, too. He’s producing and starring in a Fox pilot.

And like his on-screen best friend, Grenier, who plays star Vinny Chase, has another project keeping himself busy these days. The 38-year-old is working on a whale documentary, which received some funding from Leonardo DiCaprio.
