Columbus Short was upstaged by an arrest on Tuesday night.
Ahead of his scheduled performance at Los Angeles’ Infusion Lounge at Universal City Walk, the former “Scandal” actor was arrested.
Short’s arrest was not like his previous incidents breaking the law, this time he was taken away by bounty hunters.

“It appears that this is a citizen’s arrest as a result of an issue between Mr. Short and his bail bondsman,” said a statement from his team. “The report bail amount of $500,000 is also inaccurate. No additional information is available at this time.”

Short is currently at Men’s Central Jail on $250,000 bail and is expected to appear in court Thursday morning.
The past year has been very rocky for Short. Not only was he booted from “Scandal,” he was arrested for public intoxication, got into a wild bar fight in Los Angeles and confessed to struggling with cocaine.
