Snooki is going to strut her stuff on the dance floor.
The “Jersey Shore” star will be part of a class of 12 amateur hoofers in the upcoming 17th season of “Dancing With the Stars.” The cast was revealed Wednesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, is Chilean but was adopted by a New Jersey family at a young age. She rose to fame on the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” for her partying ways.
On “Dancing” the 25-year-old mother of one will be joined by fellow Latina artist Christina Milian, who is reportedly engaged to long-term boyfriend Jas Prince.
Milian, 31, recently announced she was taking a break from “The Voice,” where she served as the social media correspondent. She posted a photo on Instagram from the announcement.
"Well.. Here we are! Ready for this crazy adventure. I'm so ready to try something new and I'm great at it!!," she wrote in the caption. "Lol!@markballas is my partner in crime! "The#official new #cast of #DancingWithTheStars on @GMA @christinamilian."
Also on the show is Valerie Harper who was diagnosed earlier this year with terminal brain cancer.
Harper, 74, recently told People that she is feeling much better.
“My brain scans are looking better too. The doctors tell me there’s less evidence of cancer, which is very unusual,” she told People. “However, they both say it’s not a case of if, but when. And I can live with that.”
Other contestants are Jack Osbourne; Bill Nye, the “Science Guy”; “Pretty Little Liars” actor Brant Daugherty; former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson; “Saved by the Bell” actress Elizabeth Berkley; “High School Musical” actor Corbin Bleu; “Glee” actress Amber Riley; country comic Bill Engvall; and “King of Queens” actress Leah Remini.
“Dancing With the Stars” premieres at 8 p.m. on Sept. 16.
