In the FoxLight: The cast of 'Grease: Live' Video

Everyone was hopelessly devoted to "Grease: Live" on Sunday night. The Fox musical drew 12.2 million viewers and a 4.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, Fox announced.

That means the Julianne Hough and Aaron Tveit-starring production beat out NBC's "The Wiz" (11.5/3.4), but failed to match NBC's "The Sound of Music" (18.6/4.6). And let's not even talk about what NBC's "Peter Pan Live" drew (a paltry 9.2/2.4, if you really need to know).

"Grease: Live's" impressive ratings were well-deserved. Fox's first live musical was expertly produced with a ridiculous cast, including Vanessa Hudgens, Mario Lopez and Boyz II Men.

Let's just all hope this means Fox will soon be announcing "Grease 2: Live."
