The singer revealed that Shumpert, 25, tied off their daughter’s umbilical cord with a pair of headphones as they waited for the ambulance to arrive.

“She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is,” Taylor said of their new baby girl, whom the couple named after her father. “She has blown Christmas away! Shumpert has yet to take to social media with the happy news, but the Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard posted a heartfelt tribute to his fiancee last week.

“As we grow together you've taught me more about myself than I ever knew,” he captioned a black-and-white Instagram pic of the pair. “You have changed my life forever. You have made a house a home. You have carried the next generation. And you have proven to me that love is real and genuine.”
