Jerry O’Connell opened up about his brother Charlie’s time on “The Bachelor.”
The actor told PeopleTV’s “Chatter” on Tuesday that his brother was put in a “stressful situation” while taking on the lead role on the dating show in 2005. Charlie, who is also an actor, appeared on Season 7 of the ABC reality series.
“It did get pretty stressful toward the end, I could tell, for my brother. It definitely peaks into a stressful situation,” O’Connell said.

Charlie chose Sarah Brice in his season finale, but did not propose to her — which has become a trend in the franchise. The couple dated on and off for a few years until splitting in 2010.
O’Connell said he and the family had a “good time” with “The Bachelor” despite the stress. When asked if his brother still followed the franchise, O’Connell said he did not.
“I don’t think my brother watches any longer,” O’Connell said.

Fortunately, O’Connell did find love after the show. He got married to “Playboy” playmate Anna Sophia Berglund in May and had the wedding ceremony in Montauk, New York.
