Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson announced on social media Wednesday that the fashion designer has given birth to their new daughter Birdie Mae. The baby, weighing 10 pounds 13 ounces, is the couple's third child together. Johnson and Simpson are also parents to 6-year-old daughter Maxwell and 5-year-old son Ace. Simpson previously revealed they were expecting again in an Instagram post in September.

The 38-year-old fashion designer announced the happy news on social media on Wednesday.
"Birdie Mae Johnson 3.19.19 10 Pounds 13 Ounces," she wrote alongside a sweet photo on Instagram.

This is the couple's third child together. Johnson, 39, and Simpson are also parents to 6-year-old daughter Maxwell and 5-year-old son Ace.
Back in September, Simpson revealed that the pair were expecting again with an Instagram post featuring Maxwell and Ace carrying big black balloons, which they popped to reveal small, pink balloons, symbolizing a baby girl.
"This little baby girl will make us a family of five," Simpson captioned the video. "We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life."
