King Charles III underwent a successful surgery after being hospitalized for prostate treatment.

"His Majesty is doing quite well," a royal source told Fox News Digital.

Fox News Digital has learned that Queen Camilla left the hospital after his procedure, and everything went as expected.

Camilla was seen leaving the London hospital on Friday evening with a smile. She donned a navy-blue long-sleeve dress that was tied in the front.

It is not immediately clear how long King Charles will remain in the hospital.

The London Clinic private hospital is the same facility where Charles' daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was admitted for planned abdominal surgery last week.

According to the BBC, the king visited Middleton in the hospital on Friday morning before his own scheduled treatment.

Last week, Buckingham Palace revealed that His Majesty was seeking treatment for an enlarged prostate. It noted that the 75-year-old’s public engagements "will be postponed for a short period of recuperation."

While Charles’ engagements have been delayed due to his medical procedure, Camilla, 76, continued to carry on with her royal duties. Camilla was spotted arriving at the Aberdeen Art Gallery in Scotland on Jan. 18. Before heading into the event, the royal greeted the crowd.

"Good morning, it was quite a frosty journey. Sorry, we're a bit late, I'm afraid," she said with a smile.

When asked, "How is His Majesty?" Queen Camilla simply replied at the time, "He's fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work."

King Charles’ health news came just after the palace revealed that Middleton had been hospitalized for a medical procedure.

Last week, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess of Wales, who turned 42 earlier this month, underwent a "planned abdominal surgery" at The London Clinic. She is postponing all public duties until after Easter.
