Nirvana on Friday paid tribute to their frontman Kurt Cobain on the 25th anniversary of his death.

The band posted a simple message on Twitter, alongside a photo of Cobain standing on stage with a guitar.

“Kurt—You left us 25 years ago,” the post said. “You mean so much to so many.”
