Comedian Pete Davidson has been charged with crashing a vehicle into a Beverly Hills home earlier this year.
The "Saturday Night Live" alum was charged Friday with a misdemeanor count of reckless driving, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office told Fox News Digital.
"We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home. Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision," the DA's office said in an emailed statement.
The crash happened March 4 just after 11 p.m. Officers responded to calls of a traffic accident at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Elevado Avenue.

Davidson was traveling with a female passenger, according to Lt. Moreno of the Beverly Hills Police. It has been reported that Davidson was with rumored girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders at the time of the crash.
A dark Mercedes-Benz sedan struck a fire hydrant, prompting calls to police.
"Preliminary investigators believe speed may have been a factor," Lt. Reginald Evans told Fox News Digital at the time, adding that no arrests were made.
At the time, Evans told Fox News Digital that officers did not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
Lt. Moreno added, "Nobody was injured. Nobody at the home and nobody in the car."
Prior to the accident, Davidson was onstage at the Kids' Choice Awards, presenting an award with his "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" co-stars.
"We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences," the DA's statement said. "In 2022, traffic fatalities in Los Angeles have reached the highest levels seen in 20 years. This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it's crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable."
Davidson is expected to be arraigned in court July 27.
Representatives for Davidson did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
Davidson and Wonders have not publicly commented on the crash. The two met in 2021 when they co-starred in the 2022 movie "Bodies Bodies Bodies." The "Generation" alum also played Davidson's on-and-off girlfriend in the 2023 Peacock comedy series "Bupkis," which is loosely based on the comedian's life.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in December when they attended a New York Rangers game together along with fellow "Bodies Bodies Bodies" co-star Rachel Sennot.
In January, they were spotted getting cozy on the beach during a vacation to Hawaii. In the past few months, they have been spotted on several dates. And the couple had recently returned from another Hawaiian getaway before the crash.
Davidson had previously been linked to model Emily Ratajkowski after ending his nine-month relationship with Kim Kardashian. In 2018, the "Meet Cute" star announced his engagement to Ariana Grande after a whirlwind romance, but the two split later that year.

In a report published by People magazine Friday, a source told the outlet Davidson and Wonders are "still going strong."
"He really, really cares for her and thinks she's just the best," the insider said.
The source added that Davidson is "very happy" and the pair are "super close."
However, the insider noted that the New York native is "taking his time with the relationship."
"When they're apart, they're always on the phone and just a cute couple," the source added.

Davidson was recently involved in a highly-publicized spat with the animal rights organization PETA. Last week, Davidson allegedly left an expletive-laced voicemail for Daphna Nachminovitch, the senior vice president of PETA's Cruelty Investigations Department, after Nachminovitch criticized him for buying a puppy instead of adopting.
In the voicemail, Davidson explained that he can only adopt a specific breed of dog due to allergies. PETA later released a statement claiming there is "no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog," adding that the breed purchased by Davidson was available at shelters and on the pet adoption website Petfinder.
