Savannah Guthrie isn’t pregnant and wants her followers to know it’s never OK to ask.

After speculation that 46-year-old Guthrie was expecting her third child swirled Tuesday morning on Twitter, she fired back on social media.

“It is just the dress. Excuse me while I go burn it,” she wrote, responding to a since-deleted user’s tweet of the cream-and-black polka-dot frock Guthrie sported for the morning’s broadcast.

The “Today” show anchor also posted an illustration on Instagram with the caption, “When is it okay to ask a woman if she’s pregnant?” which showed the progression of a woman’s pregnancy. She captioned the post with the words, “Excuse me while I spend the rest of the day on the elliptical.”

Many other followers of the NBC News fixture came to her defense both on Twitter and Instagram.

“Today” contributor Jenna Bush Hager responded, “did someone ask you that? Please tell me NOOOO. Dance aerobic at 3pm.”

Guthrie is mom to daughter Vale, 3, and son Charlie, 1.
