Source: Lindsay and Dina Lohan in violent brawl after mom wants to stop partying, daughter doesn't

She started as a promising child star, but nobody could have predicted how things would go from there.
911 was called early Wednesday morning after Lindsay Lohan and her mother Dina were in a violent blowout, TMZ reports.
It started Tuesday night when the two went out partying together in New York City. A TMZ photographer says they left the club around 4 a.m. and headed back to Dina's home in Long Island, NY.
A source close to the duo tells FOX411 the fight started because Lindsay wanted to stay out, but Dina wanted to go home, and dragged Lindsay with her.
"Dina was drinking and she's been partying a lot lately. She wasn't even supposed to go out with Lindsay last night. She made a promise to herself that she was no longer going to party with her daughter because of the way she was being perceived, especially after Dr. Phil," the source said, referring to Dina Lohan's interview last month in which she appeared completely out of it.
"Lately, these two have been worse than ever. They fight like sisters and always have," the source continued. "Dina has no boundaries and neither does Lindsay. Dina says Lindsay did not drink last night, but you never know. It escalates when they, or one, is drunk. They are both emotional and explosive. Dina screams 'I'm the mom!' and Lindsay laughs in her face and brings up every resentment she has. It's the same fight over and over. If they're not screaming, they're crying. They need therapy."
TMZ reports Lindsay sustained a cut on her leg and there was property damage, including a broken bracelet of Lindsay's, that occurred during the scuffle.
