Even at 69, Susan Lucci isn't afraid to show a little skin, only now the process is a little more complicated.

The soap legend played Erica Kane on "All My Children" for 41 years, giving her plenty of experience with steamy scenes, but she admitted to former co-star and ET's Cameron Mathison that the nerves before a nude scene never go away.

"It's always just a lot of butterflies and preparation," Lucci told ET. "You hope you did everything you're supposed to do -- lots of extra Pilates and not eating lunch. You know, all of that stuff."

The knowledge of "everything you're supposed to do" came in handy for the Daytime Emmy winner when she shot the season four "Devious Maids" trailer. The promo features Lucci reclining naked on a couch with some strategically-placed props in the foreground.

On the Lifetime soap, Lucci plays Genevieve Delatour, one of the super-rich women whose domestic employees are the main focus of the show.

While her new role is deliciously devilish, Lucci will always have a place in her heart for the character that made her a household name.

"[Erica Kane] was such a juicy character," Lucci said of her iconic "All My Children" role. "There was so much fun to be had playing her. In airports and things, people stop and say how much they really loved the show ... The people still feel so affected by it, and it keeps me company in that respect."

The new season of "Devious Maids" debuts June 6 on Lifetime.
