The creator of ABC’s hit “Ugly Betty” is reportedly heading back to TV with a new show.

Silvio Horta is producing the one-hour drama “The Curse of the Fuentes Women” for NBC, according to several reports.

The show, which comes from Horta’s Silent Hill Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, is the story of a young man who washes up on the beaches of Miami and shows up at a household claiming to be a long-lost family member from Cuba.

According to EW, the show will explore memory, mythology and destiny.

Horta based his hit show “Ugly Betty” starring American Ferrera from the Colombian telenovela “Yo soy Betty, la fea.” It premiered in 2006 and ran for four seasons until 2010.
