Summer is finally here so toss those dry, boring brews aside and gear up for hot weather with a deliciously light, fresh and fruity drink. This refreshing strawberry cocktail captures the essence of summer with every sweet sip. And of course anything that sparkles is just perfect for a celebratory night.

Ingredients:

3 oz. Champagne or Prosecco

1 oz. dry gin

1/2 oz. Licor 43

2 large strawberries

Peppermint sprig for garnish

Preparation:

Slice and muddle strawberries in a shaker along with diced peppermint. Add gin and Licor 43, shake with ice and strain into a Champagne glass. Top off with Champagne.
