Rold Gold pretzels recalled for undeclared peanut allergen
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Frito-Lay announced a recall of select Rold Gold products on Monday, citing a potential undeclared peanut allergen.
According to a news release by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall results from a recall of a Frito-Lay supplier of certain lots of flour that had undeclared peanut residue. Affected Frito-Lay products may have been produced with the recalled flour.
No reports of illnesses related to the product have been received.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Recalled Rold Gold products were sold throughout the United States with “guaranteed fresh” dates from June 28, 2016 – August 23, 2016, as marked on the front of the package.
The products’ nine-digit manufacturing code, found directly below the “guaranteed fresh” date, includes the numbers “32” in the second and third position (example: x32xxxxxx).

These products have a 11-digits manufacturing code including the letter combination AM, TO, QH, QC or SW in the second and third position (example: xAMxxxxxxxx). The impacted products have different, varying “use by” dates, including:
