During the feminist movement of the '60s and '70s, going braless was a popular form of protest for women who identified as feminists.
Now, one company is taking that concept a step further with faux nipples — and it’s all in the name of feminism.

Just Nips offers stick-on nipples to wear over your own breasts or even over a bra to give the appearance of bare nipples. The stick-on nips come in two styles (“cold” and “freezing”), and retail for just under $10 each.
According to founder Molly Borman, the product isn’t just for accessorizing; she hopes that trans women and breast cancer survivors can use the stickies to help feel a little bit more feminine. She's also currently working with a charity to print breast self-exam instructions on the packaging to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

“You’re touching your breasts anyway when you put Just Nips on, so I want to spread breast cancer awareness and teach women how to examine themselves safely and properly while they’re at it,” she told Refinery29.
Even if your nipples are perfectly fine, Just Nips offers a fun way to go braless without having to fully free the nipple. It’s not for everyone, but like fake lashes and fake nails, they’re a fun way for some women to experiment with their personal style — all while ditching the padded bras.
