Malik Willis was set to go as high as No. 2 overall in some NFL Draft mock drafts but by the middle of the second day, the Liberty star is still without a team.

Willis proved in college he can throw the ball and run with the ball if needed. He had 2,857 passing yards and 27 touchdown passes in his final year with the Flames. He also ran the ball for 878 yards on 197 carries and scored 13 touchdowns on the ground.

Finally, with the No. 86 pick, the Tennessee Titans selected Willis. The Titans acquired the pick from the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Tennessee Titans have selected Liberty quarterback Malik Willis with the No. 86 pick in the draft, ending his draft slide.

Willis was projected by many as the top quarterback in the 2022 draft class. He was selected after Kenny Pickett, who the Steelers grabbed in the first round. The Atlanta Falcons took Desmond Ridder No. 74 overall.

Willis threw for 20 touchdowns and 6 interceptions with Liberty in 2020.

His draft slide is officially over, and he has a chance to grow behind Titans current starter Ryan Tannehill.

The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Georgia linebacker Nakobe Dean No. 83 overall. Dean slid in the draft to the third round after he was projected as a potential first round pick.

The Buffalo Bills took Georgia running back James Cook No. 63 overall, the brother of Vikings running back Dalvin Cook.

The Chiefs took Cincinnati safety Bryan Cook No. 62 overall.

The Minnesota Vikings have selected Georgia safety Lewis Cine with the final pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Cine, the No. 32 overall selection, totaled 73 tackles, 9 pass breakups and one interception in 2021 with Georgia.

The Cincinnati Bengals have selected Michigan safety Daxton Hill with the No. 31 overall pick.

Hill totaled 149 tackles, and four interceptions over three seasons with the Wolverines.

He was the second Michigan player drafted in the first round after defensive end Aiden Hutchinson was taken by the Detroit Lions No. 2 overall.

The Kansas City Chiefs have selected Purdue defensive lineman George Karlaftis with their No. 30 overall pick.

Originally from Greece, Karlaftis didn't move to the U.S. until eight years ago.

"I haven't been playing this game for very long," he said. "I feel like my best football is ahead of me."

Karlaftis earned 14 sacks during his college career with Purdue.

The New England Patriots have selected Chattanooga lineman Cole Strange with their No. 29 overall pick.

The Patriots made the move after trading down in the first round earlier on Thursday.

Strange hopes to provide some protection for quarterback Mac Jones.

The Green Bay Packers have selected Georgia defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt with their No. 28 overall pick.

The Packers decided to go defense again after a handful of wide receivers were already picked earlier this evening.

Wyatt joins his fellow Georgia teammate Quay Walker, who the team selected No. 22 overall on Thursday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have traded back into the first round, selecting Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd with the No. 27 overall pick.

A fired up Lloyd was seen lifting up Roger Goodell on the stage.

"I'm just ready to ... win a Super Bowl," he said. "Duval, lets turn it up."

The Jags continue to sure up their defense. The team selected Georgia lineman Travon Walker with the No. 1 overall pick.

The Jaguars traded their No. 33, No. 106 and No. 180 selections to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the No. 27 pick.

The New York Jets have traded back into the first round, selecting Florida State lineman Jermaine Johnson II No. 26 overall.

It was the Jets third pick in the first round on Thursday.

They previously selected Cincinnati cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner and Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

"I'm so glad the Jets came and got me," Johnson said. "We'll wreak havoc."

The Jets made the pick after trading with the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans received the No. 35, No. 69 and No. 163 overall pick. The Jets received the No. 26, and No. 101 overall picks.

The Baltimore Ravens have selected Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 25 overall pick in the draft.

It was the Ravens second selection in the first round. The team previously grabbed Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton No. 14 overall.

Linderbaum started 35 or 39 career games at Iowa.

The Dallas Cowboys have selected Tulsa offensive tackle Tyler Smith with their No. 24 overall pick.

The move comes roughly a decade after they drafted another Smith, Tyron Smith, with their No. 9 overall selection in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The Cowboys hope Tyler Smith will protect quarterback Dak Prescott for years to come.

The Buffalo Bill have selected Florida cornerback Kaiir Elam with their No. 23 overall pick in the draft.

The Bills selected Elam after trading their No. 25 and No. 130 overall selections to the Ravens, in exchange for the No. 23 overall pick.

Elam totaled 39 tackles, 11 pass break ups and 2 interceptions in 2020 with the Gators.

The team made the move with Tre'Davious White recovering from ACL injury.

The Green Bay Packers have selected linebacker Quay Walker No. 22 overall in the draft.

Walker, a ferocious hitter at Georgia, totaled 137 tackles during his college career that ended with a National Championship.

The Packers decided against grabbing an offensive weapon for quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the first round.

The Kansas City Chiefs have selected cornerback Trent McDuffie No. 21 overall following a trade with the Patriots.

The Washington cornerback totaled 94 tackles, 8 pass breakups and 2 interceptions during his college career.

McDuffie is the third cornerback taken in the first round thus far.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected quarterback Kenny Pickett with the No. 20 overall pick in the draft.

Pickett threw for 12,202 yards and 81 touchdowns in his career at Pittsburgh.

He won't have to go far, as he hopes to replace Ben Roethlisberger, who announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year.

Pickett was the first quarterback selected in the draft so far.

The New Orleans Saints went offensive again with their second pick in the first round on Thursday.

The Saints selected 6-foot-7 Northern Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Penning No. 19 overall.

The team previously took Ohio State wideout Chris Olave No. 11 overall following a trade with Washington.

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded their No.18 and No. 101 overall picks in the draft to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Following the trade, the Titans grabbed Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks with their newly acquired No. 18 overall selection.

Burks drew comparisons to Brown during the broadcast. He is a new target for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Six wide receivers have now gone in the first round so far.

The Los Angeles Chargers have selected Boston College lineman Zion Johnson No. 17 overall.

The move will hopefully give the team additional protection for quarterback Justin Herbert.

The Washington Commanders have selected Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson No. 16 overall.

Dotson earned 2,757 receiving yards in four seasons with the Nittany Lions.

He is the fifth wideout selected in the first round so far.

The Houston Texans have selected Texas A&M lineman Kenyon Green with the No. 15 overall pick.

It was the first time the Texans drafted a guard in the 1st round.

Houston previously selected LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. No. 3 overall.

The Arizona Cardinals have acquired Marquise Brown in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Cardinals got Brown and Baltimore's No. 100 overall pick in exchange for their No. 23 overall pick, the team announced.

Brown earned 1,008 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season with the Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens have selected Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton No. 14 overall.

Considered one of the top 5 players in the draft, Hamilton fell a bit from where he was projected to go before Baltimore picked him up.

"It's crazy it doesn't sound real," Hamilton said. "I just hope to keep the tradition going, they already have a great team."

The NFL Draft started with a moment of silence for Dwayne Haskins Thursday night, just weeks after the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was killed after being struck on a Florida highway. 

Haskins, who would have turned 25 Tuesday, was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 on foot when he was hit by a dump truck around 6:37 a.m. April 9, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

He was pronounced dead on the highway.

The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis No. 13 overall following a trade with the Houston Texans.

The Eagles received the No. 13 overall pick, while the Texans got the No. 15, No. 124, No. 162, and No. 166 overall picks.

It marks three trades in a row, and ends a run on offensive players.

The Detroit Lions have selected Jameson Williams No. 12 overall after trading up in the first round with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jameson was a speedy wideout at Alabama, and is coming of an ACL injury.

"I should be back soon," he said of his injury.

The selection comes as wide receivers went over the board at No. 8, No. 10, No. 11 and No. 12 overall.

The Lions reportedly traded their No. 32, No. 34, and No. 66 picks, for the Vikings No. 12 and No. 46 overall selections.

The New Orleans Saints opted to select Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave No. 11 overall after trading up in the draft.

The pick was made following a trade with the Washington Commanders.

"I respect them for taking that chance on me," Olave said.

It means two Buckeye wide receivers were taken in the first 11 picks of the draft. Garrett Wilson was taken by the Jets No. 10 overall.

The New York Jets used their second pick in the first round to select Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson No. 10 overall.

The selection means no quarterback was taken in the first 10 picks of the draft.

Wilson is a 2nd-team AP All-American with the Buckeyes. He had 12 receiving touchdowns in 2021.

"I'm happy that the New York Jets took a chance on me," Wilson said. "Really excited to get to the Big Apple for sure."

The Seattle Seahawks have selected Mississippi State offensive tackle Charles Cross No. 9 overall in the draft.

Seattle opted to select Cross over other quarterbacks in the draft.

The team earned the pick from trading quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos.

The Atlanta Falcons have selected USC wide receiver Drake London No. 8 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.

London is the first wide receiver taken during the draft so far.

"I'm just speechless," he said.

When asked how he felt about playing with tight end Kyle Pitts, London suggested, "It's twin towers."

The moves comes as Julio Jones is no longer with the team and Calvin Ridley was suspended suspended indefinitely through the 2022 season for betting on NFL games.

The New York Giants selected Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal with the No. 7 overall selection in the draft -- their second time picking in the top 10 on Thursday.

The Giants previously took Oregon pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux No. 5 overall.

Standing at 6-foot-7, Neal will be paired with Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, who the Giants took No.4 overall in 2020.

The Carolina Panthers selected offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu with the sixth overall pick in the draft.

The team opted to take the N.C. State mauler over other quarterbacks in the draft.

Ekwonu, who says he grew up as a Panthers fan, now gets to stay in North Carolina.

The New York Giants selected Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux with the fifth overall selection in the draft.

Giants hope the selection of Thibodeaux will bolster a pass rush that earned 34 sacks in 2021.

"It was just a blessing," Thibodeaux said on the draft stage. "Just to be part of an organization like this is ridiculous."

The pick was announced by Sam Prince, a Make-A-Wish kid.

The New York Jets have selected Cincinnati cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner with the No. 4 overall pick.

Gardner finished his final season with the Bearcats with 40 tackles, three interceptions, and four pass breakups, earning AAC Defensive Player of the Year accolades. 

The pick comes after the Houston Texans selected cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. No. 3 overall.

"I'm extremely blessed," Gardner said. "You can't have too much sauce."

Derek Stingley Jr. has been selected No. 3 overall by the Houston Texans.

The Texans opted to take the Stingley Jr. over fellow cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner and other quarterbacks in the draft.

Stingley Jr. was a standout at LSU.

The Detroit Lions selected hometown defensive end Aiden Hutchinson No. 2 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.

After the Jacksonville Jaguars opted to select Travon Walker with the top overall pick, the Lions wasted no time in selecting Hutchinson, a standout from Michigan.

"I'm happy I get to go back to Detroit," Hutchinson said. "I'm fired up."

The Jacksonville Jaguars are officially on the clock, with the team set to pick No. 1 overall for the second straight year.

But experts suggest the draft is a weak one for teams looking to grab a quarterback.

Nakobe Dean was seen walking the red carpet wearing a suit and orange hat.

The hard hitting linebacker, out of Georgia, is likely going in the first round.

Charles Cross was all smiles at the red carpet on Thursday.

The Mississippi State tackle told Fox News Digital he's "excited" for the next step of his journey.

N.C. State offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu was seen arriving at the NFL Draft red carpet in style on Thursday.

Ekwonu, a projected top 10 pick, is one of the top tackles in this draft class.

Former NFL coach June Jones was spot on last year when he predicted Mac Jones would have immense success in his rookie season. He would lead the New England Patriots to a playoff appearance.

Jones, the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and interim coach of the San Diego Chargers, told Fox News Digital in a recent interview he thinks most of the quarterbacks in this year’s class are "wait-and-see" type players. He said out of everyone, Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett was the one he liked the most.

"I think they’re all gonna be wait-and-see guys. I do think (Kenny Pickett) if he goes to the right team, I think he possibly could be (a starter)," Jones said. "I’m not high on (Sam Howell) from North Carolina. But Pickett I think has enough throwing ability and has been in a passing offense. … I think he may be able to jump up in there and get a chance anyway to play early."

Aidan Hutchinson will hear his name called in Las Vegas at the NFL Draft on Thursday night and it’s only a matter of how much time he’ll have to wait for that to happen.

Hutchinson and Super Bowl-winning quarterback and former No. 1 overall draft pick Matthew Stafford were at Courtyard by Marriott’s "Bistro & Banter" event inside the Library at Marquee at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the Autograph Collection on Wednesday night hours before the Jacksonville Jaguars were set to go on the clock.

The Los Angeles Rams star told Fox News Digital afterward he wasn’t worried about Hutchinson going through the draft process but wanted him to savor the moment.
