Throughout the regular season, people were wondering what the heck was wrong with the Kansas City Chiefs?

They won their division, but all numbers point to, for their standards, a rather subpar season.

Patrick Mahomes threw for the second-least amount of yards in a season - Travis Kelce failed to reach 1,000 yards for the first time since 2015 - and receivers were dropping the ball left and right.

Well, something clicked in the playoffs, and the Chiefs are celebrating their third Super Bowl title in five years, officially becoming a dynasty.

They were betting underdogs in the Super Bowl with lines closing at around 1.5 in favor of the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs, throughout the playoffs, have discussed their battles through adversity, given their regular season struggles.

With three straight wins as underdogs to win the Super Bowl once again, Mahomes kept it blunt in the postgame celebration.

"Just know that The Kansas City Chiefs are never underdogs," he said. "Just know that."

He's got a fair point - Mahomes is now 17-14 when he faces a double-digit deficit, including in the playoffs. He has faced a 10-plus point deficit in all four Super Bowls he's played in, and still has won three of them.

Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to their third Super Bowl title in just five seasons with a thrilling overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, and in doing so was named MVP for the third time.

Mahomes helped the Chiefs back from an early 10-point deficit to become repeat champs -- the first NFL team to do so in nearly 20 years.

He finished the game going 34 of 46 for 333 yards and two touchdowns.

The 49ers giveth and taketh away. 

After a muffed punt resulted in Kansas City’s first lead of the game, Brock Purdy led the 49ers on a 12 play, 75-yard play culminating in a 10-yard touchdown by Jauan Jennings to give San Francisco a 16-13 lead in the fourth quarter.

The Kansas City Chiefs took their first lead of Super Bowl LVIII late in the third quarter with a 16-yard touchdown by wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Taylor Swift delighted NFL fans on Sunday night when she was shown on the Allegiant Stadium video board chugging her drink and slamming down her cup during the game.

Swift’s chug sparked a plethora of social media reaction on X. She made it to Las Vegas from California just in time for the start of kickoff to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, after spending a few days in Japan as part of her Eras Tour.

Swift arrived right before game time with actress Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice. A photo shared on social media highlighted the singer carrying a football-shaped bag with the No. 87 on it, which is Kelce's number.

She first appeared at a game in September, and the Super Bowl marks her 13th appearance at a game – 13 being a lucky number for Swift, as her fans well know.

The Chiefs hopes of changing the momentum in the second half came to a quick end after quarterback Patrick Mahomes was picked off by 49ers safety Ji'Ayir Brown on a pass intended for Marquez Valdes-Scantling. 

Fortunately, the 49ers were unable to capitalize on the short field.

The Kansas City Chiefs avoided entering the second half of Super Bowl LVIII scoreless with a 28 yard field goal by Harrison Butker with 20 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

San Francisco 49ers starting linebacker Dre Greenlaw had one of the wildest injuries you’ll ever see on a football field in the first half of Super Bowl LVIII. 

Greenlaw suffered an Achilles injury after simply trying to run onto the field from the 49ers’ sideline, the team announced. He was ruled out before halftime.

Greenlaw and other players on defense were on the 49ers’ sideline watching the punt return get fumbled by the Chiefs’ Richie James Jr., who eventually recovered and was tackled.

Star running back Christian McCaffrey scored the first touchdown of Super Bowl LVIII after catching a short right pass from wideout Jauan Jennings. 

Brock Purdy, on 2nd and 10 at the 21 yard line, passed back to Jennings who connected with McCaffrey. The 2023 Offensive Player of the Year scored on a 21-yard run.

San Francisco is on the board first. 

Brock Purdy orchestrated a 10 play, 46 yard drive down into Chiefs’ territory late into the first quarter. After an incomplete pass to veteran wideout Deebo Samuel, kicker Jake Moody knocked in a 55-yard field goal – a Super Bowl record.

Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones felt the weight of the national anthem hit him before the start of the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.

As country music star Reba McEntire sang "The Star-Spangled Banner," the NFL broadcast cameras turned to Jones and the star player was seen shedding some tears as the song blared.

The five-time Pro Bowler will be a key for the Chiefs to stop the 49ers. San Francisco boasts one of the best offenses in football, led by Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle.

If Jones and company can get to Purdy, it will disrupt the offense entirely.

The 49ers' offense charged down the field in their opening drive, with Brock Purdy leading a five play, 48 yard drive behind a set of first downs from Kyle Juszczyk and Christian McCaffrey.

But the veteran running back's fumble was recovered by Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis at Kansas City’s 27.

The Chiefs failed to capitalize, going three and out.

Grammy award-winning artist Reba McEntire performed the national anthem at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, kicking off Super Bowl LVIII. 

In a press conference in Las Vegas Thursday, McEntire spoke about how much she loves the city and that she's "tickled to pieces" to be part of the first Super Bowl there.

"I have never sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl. I am honored beyond words to be chosen to get to sing it. It means that I get to sing a very special song for all Americans, people all around the world who have really worked so hard for our freedom and to give us peace," she said.

"It's not about me. I'm the representation of this song, and I'm just honored to get to sing it. It's a good one. I've been doing it for 50 years, and I'm really proud to get to sing it." 

When it comes to preparing for the big day, the superstar joked she's "preparing by being prepared."

"I've been singing the national anthem in the shower, when we get in the car. Rex, my boyfriend, is a huge football fan, played all sports when he was going to school. And, so, he'll say, ‘OK, sing it one more time.’ I'll say, ‘I think I know the words real good right now, so I’m all right,'" she said.

Post Malone opened Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Sunday night with his own rendition of “America the Beautiful.” 

The "Circles" singer admitted ahead of the big game that was more than a little nervous about his performance.

Malone exclusively spoke with Fox News Digital on his way into the stadium, and when asked how he's feeling, he said "Sh--ting my pants, to be frank!" with a laugh.

As for preparation, he said he "woke up, hugged my baby, and said hopefully your dad doesn’t mess it up on the grandest stage of them all."

Taylor Swift touched down in Las Vegas Sunday afternoon with actress Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice ahead of Super Bowl LVIII. 

Swift arrived at the Allegiant Stadium where the San Francisco 49ers will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. 

Swift, who finished her epic trek from the Tokyo Dome, is on hand to watch Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, whom she has been dating since the first few weeks of the season.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been through a whirlwind of media availabilities, sit-down interviews and more national attention leading up to Super Bowl LVIII.

But through all the off-the-field questions about his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, Kelce’s mind has been solely focused on winning his third Super Bowl ring on Sunday.

That laser focus and determination was vocalized to his Chiefs teammates on Saturday night, and several stars, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, said their piece to get the team locked in for the "big game.

CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson reported Kelce’s speech being so good it brought teammates, coaches and staff to tears.

"It was like a WWE speech. That was the best and most emotional team meeting in years," someone in the room told Wolfson.

Tony Romo made clear Saturday that when he called Taylor Swift the wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce he was only joking and that it was a part of his broadcast game plan.

Romo will be on the call for Super Bowl LVIII as the Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers. Swift is expected to be at least one of the focal points off of the field.

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback talked about his style with the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"I think you’re always trying to do new things," he told the outlet. "I feel like, for me, one area is I add humor in a lot of times. So the people who really know me kind of get it. So when I’m joking about Taylor Swift being the wife (of Kelce), not everyone gets it. But I feel like, to me, we’re on air for three hours and 15 minutes, sometimes three and a half. 

"You’re trying to add some levity to it, but it’s really about the game and you’re always trying to make it about the game."

Romo made the remark when the Chiefs took on the Buffalo Bills during the regular season in December.

Proposition bets have become a staple of the Super Bowl tradition over the years.

"We have so many prop bets, over a thousand unique prop bets, and we’ll be adding more all the way up to Super Bowl Sunday," said Caesars Sportsbook Assistant Director of Trading Adam Pullen.

Prop bets are side wagers on parts of the game that may not be tied to who wins or loses.

"Four thousand ways to bet. The prop betting has taken up a life of its own. Sometimes, it’s almost more important than the game itself, who wins or loses. So many options, so many ways to bet," said Pullen.

And betting doesn’t stop when the game kicks off.

"We can bet all the way through the game. The next play, the next drive. How many yards they’re going to get on the drive. There is so much. Technology has made it a lot better for what we can offer on an everyday basis," said Pullen. 

Over at Westgate, the sportsbook launched a menu of over 500 prop bets.

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the first NFL team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the New England Patriots accomplished the feat in the 2003 and 2004 seasons. 

Kansas City will play in its fourth Super Bowl in five years against the San Francisco 49ers  on Sunday in Las Vegas as the NFL’s current dynasty continues. 

Speaking with Nate Burleson of CBS, Mahomes said the Chiefs have felt the hate this season as their winning ways have continued. 

"You definitely have gotten that sense this year," Mahomes said. "I think this is the year that actually has kind of came out that way. That’s part of it. You turn into that villain, you turn into that team that everybody doesn’t want to win. 

"You have to embrace that too, in order to be great. And I think you’ve seen the greats do that in every sport whenever they start building dynasties and stuff like that. And we want to do that, and we want to stamp out this Super Bowl win."

Mahomes said he has embraced the villain role this season as the Chiefs were forced to go on the road in the NFL Playoffs for the first time since he took over under center in Kansas City. 

"I do, man," Mahomes said when asked if he likes playing the "villain role."

If the Drake curse is still alive, San Francisco 49ers fans may as well start celebrating now.

The rapper is notorious for "cursing" players and teams due to his prior associations with them.

Drake is a partner with Stake, a gambling site where bettors wager cryptocurrency. On the site, he placed a $1.15 million bet on the Chiefs to win this year's Super Bowl.

Apparently, it's inspired by Taylor Swift.

"I can't bet against the swifties," Drake wrote in an Instagram caption.

Drake also placed an $850,000 wager on Logan Paul to knock out Dillon Danis in October, and Paul actually won by disqualification, resulting in a losing bet.

The "God's Plan" artist was also tight with members of the 2016 Golden State Warriors and 2019 Alabama Crimson Tide. Drake also developed a friendship with Johnny Manziel while he was still in college, and Manziel had zero success in the NFL.

The Chiefs are underdogs, with the line somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5.

A 30-second advertisement for the Super Bowl has increasingly become more expensive over the last decade as viewership for the event continues to grow each year. 

For Super Bowl LVII, a 30-second commercial cost $7 million , according to Statista. This is an increase from the cost of the same timeframe from Super Bowl LVI. This year, the cost of a 30-second Super Bowl ad is around $7 million.

During Super Bowl LVI in February 2022, when the Cincinnati Bengals competed against the Los Angeles Rams, a 30-second advertisement would cost an average sponsor $6.5 million on average, according to Statista.

From 2017 to 2021, a 30-second advertisement cost an average range of $5.4 to $5.5 million. For the most part, advertising rates have consistently increased at the Super Bowl for the last decade.

From 2014-2016, the cost of a 30-second ad was between $4 and $4.5 million, according to Statista.

In 2002, the same ad duration cost a brand $2.2 million, according to Statista. This is a 218% increase in cost in the last 22 years.

In order to win a Super Bowl squares competition, the winner is typically picked at the end of every quarter, but the tally of the game's final score is also used to determine the final winner. A final winner is decided by taking the last number in each team's score and matching it to the grid where squares intersect.

For example, if the final score is Kansas City Chiefs 24, San Francisco 49ers 17, the participant in the square where the Chiefs' column intersects with the 4 and the 49ers' row intersects with the 7 would win the final score prize.

The winners of the first, second and third quarters typically receive some form of equal payout, but the winner of the fourth-quarter final score usually receives the largest payout.

Super Bowl squares add an element of excitement to the game for participants, as the outcome is based on the unpredictable nature of the final scores, making it a game of chance rather than skill.

Brittany Mahomes hyped up her Kansas City Chiefs quarterback husband on Saturday night ahead of the team’s Super Bowl LVIII appearance against the San Francisco 49ers.

Patrick Mahomes will try to lead the Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowl titles. If they’re successful, the Chiefs would be the first team since the New England Patriots in 2003 and 2004 to win consecutive titles. According to Brittany, Patrick was locked in.

"My boy, so ready for tomorrow," she wrote on her Instagram Stories as she shared a post from her husband.

The video showed highlights from Mahomes and the Chiefs with pundits voicing their criticism of the team over the course of the season. Mahomes, much like last season, has been able to prove most of the Chiefs doubters wrong as he’s led the team back to the Super Bowl despite an off season statistically.

"We've been dealing with adversity," Mahomes said Monday night. "It's great seeing how the guys responded. That's the reason why we're here."

In recent years, the return on investment has been strong for companies spending money to advertise their products during the Super Bowl. In 2023, a few of the most viral commercials were from Michelob ULTRA, Crown Royal, Doritos and Pringles.

Some of the top advertising brands for the 2021 Super Bowl included General Motors, T-Mobile, Verizon and Mountain Dew, who all earned an average ROI of $4.60, according to research and data collected by Kantar.

Creativity and consumer spending play a direct role in the Super Bowl as fans tend to buy from the advertisement they remember the most. Advertisements have an engaging role in the Super Bowl as the event's high viewership continues its dominance.

"Most people tend to run in the opposite direction of advertising, but [the] Super Bowl remains the one day where they don’t," said Joe Glennon, an associate professor in the Department of Advertising at Temple University’s Lew Klein College of Media and Communication, in an interview. "There’s still no better way to reach 70, 80 or 90 million people all at once than the Super Bowl. There is also incredible brand-building power in having lots of people see you at the same time."

Tom Brady figured out what it took to execute in the highest of high-pressure situations in the NFL and was rewarded for it with seven Super Bowl championships in 10 appearances in the big game.

Brady never wavered and delivered when the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed it most.

Brady spoke with Fox News Digital after his Super Bowl rings and legendary sportscaster Jim Gray’s signed football from every Super Bowl-winning quarterback were revealed to be featured in the museum.

Brady offered a reminder about what it takes to reach the mountaintop.

"They’re going to have to play well. It’s the biggest stage," he said. "It’s what you hope for as an athlete. You can see it up here when we open this up and unveil what this museum is. "And the different part about sports is you don’t get second chances. You get one chance to do it. It’s live. You’re under pressure. And you gotta get it done when it matters."

Some of the most popular A-list celebrity musicians participate in the Super Bowl halftime performance; however, they do not receive a paycheck from the league, according to Esquire. 

The NFL fully funds the production costs and covers travel expenses for performers at the Super Bowl. However, it is important to note that individual musicians do not receive a direct paycheck for their participation in the event.

Despite the lack of pay, the main reason stars agree to perform at the Super Bowl is because of the large exposure the halftime stage provides, as tens of millions of people tune in to watch the game and the show. 

Super Bowl LVII featuring Grammy award winning artist Rihanna was the second-most watched halftime show on record. Nearly 119 million viewers tuned into her platform performance while pregnant.

Viewership was up by 15% from the 2022 Super Bowl show featuring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar.

The Super Bowl LVIII suite prices at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas have been an underlying topic of conversation as some wives and family members of players have complained about the expense.

According to prices listed online by the Suite Experience Group, "Premium Loge" seats range from $180,000 to $300,000, while the "Owner’s Club" suites start out at $1.8 million. Some suites have reportedly gone for around $3 million.

Kelly Stafford, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford’s wife, and Lisa McCaffrey, the mother of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, voiced their concerns about the prices. Stafford called it "absurd" and McCaffrey said, "None of us can afford it."

Even Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother, wasn’t happy with the pricing and said as far as she knew, she was going to end up in the stands. Claire Kittle, the wife of 49ers tight end George Kittle, called the prices "absurd" as well.

Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby, who lives in the city, said that’s just the way it is. He talked to Fox News Digital ahead of Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl party.

"Excessive pricing? I mean, it’s Las Vegas," he said with a smile. "It’s Las Vegas. It's not cheap. So, that’s how it goes."

Americans will make $23.1 billion in bets on the Super Bowl this year, an American Gaming Association (AGA) survey found.

The spending on bets, the AGA said, is expected to be fueled by 67.8 million American adults and represents a year-over-year jump of 44%. 

About 42.7 million Americans are looking to do traditional bets on the big Sunday matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, whether that be online, at a physical sportsbook or with a bookie, according to the AGA.

Meanwhile, the industry group said that over 36.5 million intend to engage in more casual bets and play the odds with friends, in a pool or as part of a Squares competition. 

Some wagers related to Taylor Swift have cropped up as casual proposition bets among NFL fans. 

They vary from whether she’ll come to the game to how many instances the network may air her on the broadcast to whether she’ll get an on-field proposal from Kelce, according to reports.

For the teams going head-to-head Sunday, slightly more Americans (47%) will put their money on the Kansas City Chiefs coming out on top, according to the AGA. The 49ers will get 44%.

An NFL select committee determines which cities are chosen to host the Super Bowl after going through a vetting process. The committee wants to ensure that whichever city hosts the Super Bowl has the proper economic infrastructure and tools in place to host the event effectively without delays. 

Cities across the United States actively pitch the NFL for the opportunity because of the economic opportunity and exposure from hosting the event.

Cities often have to make concessions to the select committee, which usually results in the NFL having authority over how the event is conducted. Owners from the cities also have the opportunity to pitch the committee during the selection process.

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to win back-to-back Super Bowls for the first time since the 2003 and 2004 seasons when the New England Patriots did it. 

Kurt Warner won a Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams during the 1999 season, but the team lost in the wild-card round to the New Orleans Saints the following season. 

The Rams got back to the Super Bowl following the 2001 season, but Warner and the team lost to the Patriots by a field goal.

Warner knows how difficult it is to get back to the Super Bowl after winning one and explained to Fox News Digital all that goes into repeating as a champion.

"I think it’s really, really difficult. (Winning) shortens your offseason, first and foremost," he said. "You’re playing longer than everybody else, you’re going through that aspect of things. When you have a successful team, everybody wants to pluck the good players from your team. So, you lose a lot of those good facets.

"How about the Chiefs? Just look at them this year. They were more of an offensive-driven team last year, although good on defense but young. This year, completely different. They’re winning with defense and managing things on offense. How many teams have the ability to do that?"

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney has not played since Week 15 of the 2023 NFL season, and it appears his season will also end on the bench. 

Toney is not expected to play in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night in Las Vegas, according to ESPN. 

Toney was not listed on Kansas City’s injury report ahead of the game.

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks for Toney, who was listed as out for the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens for personal reasons and a hip injury. 

Hours before the game, Toney took to his Instagram to push back on the notion he was missing the game due to injury. 

Kansas City head coach Andy Reid defended Toney’s injury status the day after the Chiefs defeated Baltimore. 

"Well, obviously he's been on the injury report. That part is not made up by any means," Reid told reporters. "He's been working through some things, and he'll be back out there."

Most Super Bowl advertisements stay between the 15- to 30-second range. However, if an advertisement did break into the one-minute mark, it would likely cost the sponsor nearly double the average costs of a 30-second ad.

Since brands pay such a high cost to show off their products, advertisements tend to emphasize an entertainment angle rather than a serious or logical pitch to consumers. As a result, a consumer trend has been created over the years surrounding Super Bowl advertisements as some non-sports enthusiasts tune in only to watch the commercials.

In 2021, Anheuser-Busch spent $52 million on advertising during the Super Bowl LVI game, according to Statista. Other major brands that shelled out top dollar included Pepsico and T-Mobile.

 That same year, $485 million was spent on Super Bowl advertising. This is more than double the cash from 2011, according to Statista.

This year, Anheuser-Busch has announced that it purchased 2½ minutes of ad space spread across three separate slots that will air during the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, marketing its top beer brands: Bud Light, Budweiser and Michelob Ultra.

This quick French onion dip recipe requires little cooking and makes a minimal mess in the kitchen.

Begin by slicing or chopping your onion. Over medium heat on the stove, caramelize the onion in a pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will appear in the first Super Bowl of his career Sunday when he takes on the Kansas City Chiefs.

While Taylor Swift is in the Chiefs’ corner because of Travis Kelce, viral TikTok sensation Anna Frey will be in Purdy’s corner. 

The 16-year-old high school tennis star from Utah received a ticket to attend Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas since going viral during the season for resembling Purdy.

When Purdy won the NFC championship, he was seen in a video with someone shouting, "Anna Frey is going to the Super Bowl." Anna responded to the video, screen-capping the video, "patiently waiting for my Super Bowl invite." 

Sure enough, Six Star Pro Nutrition came through for her as the clip registered 29 million views.

Anna told Fox News Digital in an interview before the game she didn’t see a resemblance.

"No, I didn’t," Anna said. "But just one comment just said, ‘She kinda looks like Brock Purdy,’ and then that comment just blew up. Everything else followed."

Some of the nearly 119 million viewers who tuned in for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show last year were apparently not pleased with what they saw.

The Federal Communications Commission received over 100 complaints after the big game, many related to pop and R&B singer Rihanna's performance. Some viewers claiming the show was "overtly sexual" in nature, TMZ reported.

Others believed some of the dance moves "were patently offensive and completely inappropriate for children."

WWE legend Goldberg said it was "frickin' horrible," while former President Trump said it was "the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history."

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal came to the defense of the nine-time Grammy Award winner at the time.

"All you people disrespecting my Rihanna, shut your face. Shut it up," he said on "The Big Podcast." "I was there - it was beautiful. She did a great job. I didn't know she was pregnant until she bust out, but leave this lady alone…

"You did a great job. I love you. All you people that got something to say: shut the f--- up."

As social media has become more popular over recent years, advertisers have started pre-releasing Super Bowl commercials online before they appear on live television. The logic behind the pre-release is that it allows advertisers to allow their commercials to reach audiences that do not tune into the Super Bowl.

Moreover, the advertisement's longevity increases because its popularity is not completely reliant on the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl games, ads and halftime shows are each a phenomenon of their own. Some viewers tune in for the game and some only for the halftime show. While viewers must tune in for the entirety of the game to catch the commercials, some at-home spectators are simply popping in and out when breaks in the games occur.

"During the 2019 Super Bowl, consumers spent 641 thousand hours watching Super Bowl ads on YouTube, representing a 58 percent increase over the previous year," the Statista website reads.

A plane registered to First Order Aeronautics, LLC based in Florida took off from Missouri on Wednesday and left a message in the Kansas City clouds for Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift and fans.

The pilot took a path in the sky to draw out the number 87, Kelce's NFL number, surrounded by a heart, Swift's signature hand gesture.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the A-list singer-songwriter sparked romance rumors in late September after Kelce attended one of her concerts. He said during an episode of his co-hosted "New Heights" podcast with brother, Jason Kelce, that he tried, and failed, at giving Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.

“I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” the Super Bowl star told his older brother and listeners.

Swift's appearance at tonight's game is highly anticipated by fans both in Las Vegas and tuning in at home.

The Super Bowl has evolved into a multimillion-dollar event that brings thousands to a sold-out stadium each year to watch the AFC and NFC champions face off in one of the biggest sporting events of the year for the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Usher was announced as the Super Bowl LVIII halftime performer in late September by Apple Music on X.

"It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before," R&B star Usher said, according to Variety. "Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon."

The "Confessions: Part II" and "Burn" singer's Las Vegas residency has been sold out several times and more shows were added. Usher is recording his ninth album titled "Coming Home."

He has been nominated for many awards in the music industry and received eight Grammys, eight American Music Awards, many Billboard Music Awards and more.

Taylor Swift reportedly turned down the chance to perform at Super Bowl LVIII due to being too busy with her Eras world tour, according to the Daily Mail.

After facing an enormous amount of backlash in the last year due to its campaign with trans activist and TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light's Super Bowl ad is probably going to be one of the most talked about this year. The teaser features an unrecognizable man in sunglasses and a Bud Light T-shirt with a group of football fans watching in awe and asking who the man is.

Uber Eats released a teaser trailer for its Super Bowl ad, and it features power couple David and Victoria Beckham.

Doritos will be promoting its latest product, Dinamita, in its Super Bowl ad and will feature Emmy Award-nominated actress Jenna Ortega.

BetMGM's Super Bowl ad will certainly make Tom Brady fans happy since he will be making an appearance along with actor Vince Vaughn and former professional hockey player Wayne Gretzky.

Drumstick's ad will feature comedian Eric André as he tries to make it through airport security with a bag full of ice cream cones.

Every Super Bowl since the first one in 1967 has been hosted and broadcast on Sunday to millions of Americans. Sunday, being a day when many individuals are at home and available to watch television, ensures a broad audience for the game, contributing to higher advertising revenue.

The tradition of hosting the Super Bowl on a Sunday has become deeply ingrained in American culture, establishing Super Bowl Sunday as a special day for sports, entertainment, and gatherings. 

There have been talks and calls to move the Super Bowl to Saturday so that Americans can enjoy the event without having to work the next day.

"That [idea] has been around for a long time, people have talked about that," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, according to CBS Sports. "The reason we haven't done it in the past is simply just from an audience standpoint. The audiences on Sunday night are so much larger. Fans want to have the best opportunity to be able to see the game, and we want to give that to them, so Sunday night is a better night."

Legendary political strategist James Carville argued Saturday that the White House has little confidence in President Biden after he turned down a Super Bowl Sunday interview.

Biden recently declined to take part in the Super Bowl Sunday interview for the second year in a row. The interview is a tradition that began in 2009 with President Obama.

The interview is generally seen as a way for the president to connect with a massive audience that doesn't usually tune into political conferences. Last year, the Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles saw 115 million viewers.

Carville, a long-time Democrat, gave his take on the situation while being interviewed on CNN on Saturday.

"It’s the biggest television audience, not even close, and you get a chance to do a 20-, 25-minute interview on that day," Carville began.

"And you don’t do it? That’s a kind of sign that the staff or yourself doesn’t have much confidence in you," Carville continued. "There’s no other way to read this."

Chad Johnson is just one of many celebrities in Las Vegas for media tours ahead of the Super Bowl, so plenty of big bets are being made.

However, there may be none bigger than this one.

OchoCinco is so confident about his pick for the big game, he's willing to risk three of the most important things in his life: McDonald's, his wife and sex — in no particular order.

The six-time Pro Bowler says there is zero chance the Kansas City Chiefs lose, and he's apparently putting a lot on the line.

When asked by Bleacher Report Betting what he'd be willing to bet on the Chiefs, his first reply was hilarious.

"If the Chiefs lose, I won't eat McDonald's anymore. Ever," the Cincinnati Bengals legend said.

When Johnson realized he could say "whatever" he wanted during the interview, he got a little bit more personal.

"Matter fact, if the Chiefs lose, I'll divorce my wife and no more sex for the rest of the year. That's how confident I am," he said. 

That last part is definitely risking a lot, as OchoCinco has never shied away from his life in the bedroom. He recently was on an Instagram Live video with former teammate Terrell Owens about their "lil orgy" with "17 women in 12 hours."

Security Industry Association (SIA) CEO Don Erickson told Fox News Digital that Taylor Swift will most likely try to conceal her entrance and exit from Allegiant Stadium on Feb. 11, for her own safety and the safety of others.

"While it may not be a common tactic for celebrities to conceal themselves in containers or broom carts when entering or exiting a stadium, it is likely necessary given the fan fixation on Swift and hysteria surrounding her relationship with Travis Kelce," Erickson said. 

He continued, "To avoid crowd management issues that might result from large numbers of people trying to push towards the celebrity if spotted, she will likely conceal her movements in the stadium and her entrance and exit for her own protection – and the protection of other patrons."

A private jet flying from Tokyo to LAX landed in the afternoon on Saturday. The plane is believed to have been carrying Swift from Japan.

After Super Bowl LVIII, she is expected to continue touring for fans in Australia, Asia, Europe, the U.S. and Canada through the fall.

Lisa McCaffrey, the mother of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian, wasn't quite sure where she was sitting to watch her son in the Super Bowl.

Despite McCaffrey's $11.8 million salary this season, and his fiancée Olivia Culpo's estimated net worth being between $7 and $10 million, Momma McCaffrey said that not even they could afford a suite for the big game.

"We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it," Lisa said. "Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia," she said on McCaffrey's podcast, "Your Mom."

"So, we’re not in a suite, I’ll tell you that right now," Lisa said.

However, Culpo did try to buy a suite at Allegiant Stadium for the game.

Culpo shared an Instagram story of the price concerns, which she said was "fake news."

"Happy birthday Lisa I bought you a suite," Culpo wrote.

During a press conference with reporters last week, McCaffrey said that despite the former Miss Universe’s best efforts, he shut down the idea of her purchasing the suite. 

"She tried to, but I will not let anybody pay to watch me play," McCaffrey said with a smile. "I had to nix that."

All-Pro guard, of the Kansas City Chiefs, Joe Thuney will miss Super Bowl LVIII as he recovers from a pec injury.

Andy Reid refrained from officially saying that Thuney would miss the big game, but it's now official after he missed practice all week.

Thuney suffered the injury in the AFC divisional round against the Buffalo Bills.

Fifth-year offensive lineman Nick Allegretti will start in Thuney's place.

"Next-man-up mentality," Chiefs right guard Trey Smith said. "Nick is a consummate professional. He'll be ready to go. He's done a great job these past couple of weeks of preparation. Our coaches will have us prepared, and Nick will do great."

Thuney was named a First-team All-Pro for the first time in his career this season. He previously made the Second-team twice. 

He joined the Chiefs in 2021 after spending his first five seasons with the New England Patriots. Talk about some good luck. Thuney is a three-time Super Bowl champion, winning two with the Pats and one with the Chiefs.

Many look forward to the festivities to come during Super Bowl week in the game's first Las Vegas appearance, but one NFL announcer wants no part in participating in what Sin City has to offer.

ESPN's Joe Buck, the veteran play-by-play voice for "Monday Night Football," told an ESPN radio station in his hometown St. Louis that he has "no desire" to be in Las Vegas the week before the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers.

And it's certainly not because he thinks it's going to be a bad game. It's the bad that can happen before it for those attending.

"It’s a lot of logistics. It’s a lot of congestion," he told "The Opening Drive" on 101 ESPN.

"I’m not that way. I’m not looking for the Maxim party and going out all night. It’s just not my thing, and then you combine that with Vegas.

"There’s going to be some story. There’s going to be something that happens because it’s Vegas, and it won’t stay in Vegas. It’s going to be a big something that happens. I don’t know what it is. I have no idea. I just think that is going to be a mess in my mind."

The Super Bowl is coming to Las Vegas for the very first time tonight.

Super Bowl LVIII will be held at Allegiant Stadium today marking the first time the city has been host.

The Chiefs come straight off a 2023 Super Bowl win. That game was played against the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Miami

So far, Miami has hosted more Super Bowls than any other city. There have been 11 games total held in the city. 

The first game held in Miami was in 1968 for Super Bowl II. This game was held at the Orange Bowl.

New Orleans

New Orleans comes in right behind Miami, having hosted a total of 10 Super Bowls over the years. Most of the games have been held at Caesars Superdome, formally Louisiana Superdome and Mercedes-Benz Superdome, with three at Tulane Stadium. 

The 2025 Super Bowl is set to be played in New Orleans, so it will be tied with Miami once the game is played. 

Greater Los Angeles

On Jan. 15. 1967, the very first Super Bowl, then known as the NFL-AFL World Series Championship, was played at the Memorial coliseum in Los Angeles.

The final game of the season between the 49ers and Chiefs is to be played today at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It’s the first time in NFL history that the Super Bowl will be held in the city, and it’s a rematch of Super Bowl LIV.

Here are a few things to know ahead of the game. 

Reba McEntire will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the game.

McEntire is included in a pregame entertainment lineup that includes Post Malone and Andra Day. Malone will sing "America the Beautiful." Day will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing," also known as the Black national anthem.

Usher was confirmed as the Super Bowl headline back in September. Usher has also been considering guests for possible collaborations onstage. Some of his top songs include features from Alicia Keys, Pitbull, Lil Jon and Ludacris.

The NFL has not seen a back-to-back Super Bowl champion since the 2003 and 2004 New England Patriots. With comparisons between Mahomes and Tom Brady beginning to ramp up, Mahomes could add another accolade to his already impressive resume – back-to-back champion.

Mahomes and the Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII last year.
