50 Cent has finally sold his over-the-top Connecticut mansion to the tune of $3 million. And although the rapper – otherwise known as Curtis Jackson – unloaded the 50,000-square-foot home for 84 percent less than he initially asked for in 2007, it’s all for a good cause, as the Grammy winner is said to be donating all of the proceeds to charity.

On Monday, TMZ reported that Jackson finally sold the Farmington megamansion, with all profits from the sale benefitting his G-Unity Foundation. The palatial 19-bedroom, 25-bathroom home was once owned by Mike Tyson, and the boxer’s ex-wife Monica Turner sold the home to 50 Cent in 2003 for $4.1 million, Architectural Digest reports.

The sale marked the most expensive residential real estate transaction in Farmington (which is about 80 miles north of posh Greenwich), a record that still stands to date, according to MarketWatch.

Jackson is said to have spent between $6 and $10 million dollars renovating the 52-room compound, Realtor.com reports, though his first attempt at selling the home for a whopping $18.5 million in 2007 proved fruitless.

The 17-plus acre estate hopped on and off the market for several years with various price cuts, most recently being listed for $4.995 million, as per MarketWatch. Though the “Candy Shop” singer filed for bankruptcy in 2015, which revealed that the Farmington mansion cost around $70,000 in monthly fees, the now 43-year-old rapper was able to hang onto the house.

As noted by AD, the most extravagant features of the home likely delayed its sale for years on end, with amenities including a recording studio, green-screen room, full-sized gym, multiple gaming rooms, a home theatre, basketball court, indoor pool, a “night club,” “Playboy mansion-style grotto” and more.
