Jennifer Lopez has enlisted Magnolia mogul Joanna Gaines to help remodel the $6.6 million Malibu beach house she purchased with beau Alex Rodriguez, and has already envisioned what the decor style of the so-called "fixer upper" will probably be.

Spilling the beans on the new real estate project during a recent appearance on "Ellen,” the 49-year-old “World of Dance” judge told host Ellen DeGeneres that as home design is a “passion” of hers, she’s ready to get creative in curating a space that perfectly suits both her and Rodriguez’ differing tastes.

“Do y’all have the same taste, same aesthetic?” DeGeneres asked.

“He's a little bit more of the modern, masculine side. He just goes all the way modern,” Lopez revealed. “Like the stones, and marbles.”

“And I’m like, ‘Can we have a pillow? And a blankie?’” she joked.

Better yet, the songstress told the host that Rodriguez actually surprised her in coordinating Gaines’ help with the remodel venture.

"We actually got a little fixer-upper next to the water and we were like, 'Oh we gotta fix this up.' It's really a house that needs work," Lopez said of the joint purchase with her boyfriend of two years. "I was like, 'Wouldn't it be amazing to have [Gaines] do it for us?' But she doesn't do anything outside of Waco. Like, nothing."

"I didn't even know that, honestly, that Alex listens to me half the time," she laughed. "And then, come our anniversary – he goes, 'I want you to go to this meeting with us for the architect for the house.' And I was like, 'OK, great.' And he opens up FaceTime and it's Joanna Gaines. And I was like, 'Ah! Oh! Are you kidding? Hi!'"

Gaines did not fully commit to the project, Lopez told DeGeneres, but she said she would help out where she could with the house.

“I'm looking forward to how we can make this little place nice,” the performer mused.

According to Architectural Digest, Lopez and Rodriguez’ newest residence is anything but “little”; the 4,404-square-foot home features four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a master suite that takes up the entire third floor.

Originally constructed in 1949, the home was once owned by “Entourage” actor Jeremy Piven, who is said to have added “numerous Southeast Asian touches” to the simple aesthetic of the property.
