Snow, ice, and severe storms will make travel hazardous for many. A winter storm over the Central and Southern Plains will spread rain, snow, and freezing rain from the Plains to New England over the next several days.
On the warmer side of the system, severe thunderstorms will develop across the Southeast along with the risk of flash flooding.
