Brazilian police searched the home and political headquarters of former President Jair Bolsonaro after the country's Supreme Court issued warrants and restraining orders. As part of the orders, Bolsonaro is prohibited from contacting foreign officials.

The former Brazilian president has been ordered to wear an ankle monitor. Additionally, he has been banned from using social media and approaching embassies, according to Reuters, which cited a decision issued by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The justice also said there was a "concrete possibility" that Bolsonaro would try to flee.
Furthermore, the outlet reported that Bolsonaro is prohibited from contacting his son, Eduardo, who has been lobbying Washington to help his father.

TRUMP CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE END TO ‘UNJUST’ TRIAL OF FORMER BRAZILIAN PRESIDENT JAIR BOLSONARO
On Thursday, President Donald Trump called for an immediate end to the trial, saying that Bolsonaro is the victim of an "unjust system."
"I have seen the terrible treatment you are receiving at the hands of an unjust system turned against you. This should end immediately!" Trump wrote in a letter he sent to Bolsonaro, which the president posted on his Truth Social account Thursday evening.
