Aaron Rodgers seemingly has turned the page with his family.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback spoke to reporters Monday following a home loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 2, Rodgers’ 35th birthday.

Sunday’s heartbreaking loss led to the untimely firing of head coach Mike McCarthy on the same day – and when asked about McCarthy’s banishment, Rodgers provided a glimpse into the relationship he shares with his parents Edward and Darla Rodgers – revealing that he spent time with them recently.

"I mean, I found out, I'm sure, the same way that most of you found out," Rodgers told reporters. "I was at home with my folks in town for my birthday. When I found out, I was as shocked as many of you were, I'm sure."

Rodgers' comments came after his brother, Jordan ripped him late last month on Twitter on the eve of Thanksgiving alleging that the All-Pro gunslinger hadn’t called his parents to check in on them after the demoralizing California wildfires.

AARON RODGERS SLAMMED BY BROTHER JORDAN FOR NOT CALLING PARENTS, MISSING 'FIRST STEP OF COMPASSION' DURING CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES

"PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE," Jordan wrote. "But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe.... Everything else just feels like an act."

Rodgers normally isn’t too keen on speaking about his family, and even his father has broken his silence in the past about his estranged relationship with his son.

"It’s good to have it all come out," he told the New York Times last year. “Airing public laundry is not what I would have chosen."

He continued, adding that he doesn’t “think it’s appropriate to talk about family stuff publicly,” but "fame can change things.”

In May, Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend, Olivia Munn, spoke about his family drama during a conversation with Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM show, “Radio Andy” and slammed rumors that she was the reason Rodgers wasn’t close with his family.

"I do believe that family and fame and success can be really complicated if their dreams are connected to your success," Munn explained. "… And Aaron is one of the best – if not the best -- quarterback to ever play the game, so their work has a direct connection to what he does and that’s ... at the end of the day there is a lot of complications."

She added: "I don’t think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it’s not OK when you try to stand on someone’s shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what I think they did with him."

Rodgers is currently dating former professional racing driver Danica Patrick, whom he has been with for nearly a year.
