Here's what to know about the Final Four oddsboard:
The Favorite(s): Duke, Arizona, Michigan and Florida are favored to comprise the Final Four. Arizona last made the Final Four way back in 2001, while Michigan last made it in 2018. The Blue Devils last made a Final Four appearance last season, and the Gators are the defending champions. In terms of current form, the Blue Devils and Wildcats won their conference tournaments, while the Wolverines lost in the Big Ten title game and the Gators lost in the SEC semifinals. Duke is on an 11-game win streak entering the Tournament, while Arizona has won nine in a row.
The Contenders: UConn, Iowa State, Houston and Purdue are the four teams expected to challenge the favorites in each region, at least according to the odds. The Huskies have won two of the last three national titles (2023 and 2024) and lost to eventual national champion Florida by two in the second round of last season's NCAA Tournament. They enter the Tournament off a blowout loss to St. John's in the Big East title game. ISU lost by two to Arizona in the Big 12 semifinals, and Houston lost by five to Arizona in the Big 12 Championship Game. Lastly, Purdue — which opened the season as one of the national title favorites — upset Michigan to win the Big Ten title. Are the Boilermakers hitting their stride?
