At least three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries during a shooting at Aventura Mall in south Florida on Saturday afternoon, Aventura Police said.
Several suspects are currently in custody and being questioned by detectives.
Aventura Major Michael Bentolila said that two groups of people got into a fight outside of a Hugo Boss store. One person brandished a weapon, which spurred someone in the other group to pull out a gun and start firing.
Multiple agencies are currently looking for the shooter, who fled the mall, Bentolila said.
Authorities started responding to the mall at 3:39 p.m. At least three people were transported to a local hospital and one of them is currently in the trauma center, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

Derek Smart, a video game designer who works nearby the mall, posted a video of several people trying to crouch behind cover.
"I can't even begin to describe the chaos," Smart wrote on Twitter. "It's the most heartbreaking thing I have ever witnessed. Moms, kids, yelling & screaming, falling, tripping, kids - lost in the fray - amid the chaos and running around blindly in search of their parents."
Bentolila said there are no ongoing threats at the mall, which is currently closed.
